Scan documents

Open Scan & photo PDF and capture a document or choose photos. Adjust each of the four corners and apply the crop. You can crop again later from the photo controls. Choose color, grayscale or document enhancement, paper size and margins, then save as PDF.

Merge and edit PDFs

Choose PDFs in Merge PDF, arrange their order and save. Open preview or page editing from My documents to reorder, rotate or remove pages and save a copy. PDF tools also include compression, page extraction, image conversion, signature images, watermarks and page numbers.

Combine and split photos

Open Photo tools and choose images. The default is a square 1:1 canvas with a 2×2 grid and no gaps. Adjust photo order, ratio, spacing and fit, or split one image into rows and columns. Save combined images or export split images individually or as a ZIP.

Save files

Tap a result’s save or download button to open the iOS share sheet. Choose Save to Files and a destination. Saving to Photos is available when the share sheet offers that action. Keep a separate exported copy of important documents.

Troubleshooting

If capture does not open, check PDF Helper camera permission in iPhone Settings. If a large job fails, use fewer pages or photos and check free storage. Open exported files in Files to confirm the result.
